Det Tredje Perspektivet explores sounds in motion. A special computer application was developed to simulates distance and doppler effect by synchronizing pitch, EQ, volume and panning for each sound. All recorded sounds in the piece derive from a cello.

The turn of a flute for tape.

First performance in June 1990 (has been broadcast in Sweden).

The piece uses the TX81z synthesizer, and the tuning of the synthesizer is based on the pure minor seventh instead of the octave, which creates the special atmosphere in the piece.
